College Programs 

The Accounting Finance Externship is for college and graduate students majoring in accounting and finance who are looking for experiential and practical experience conducting financial services in areas of budget development and processing; contract negotiation and administration; financial planning and monitoring; financial accounting and reporting; grants management; financial analytic and administrative work, general administrative services work, planning and conducting analytical studies; overseeing other support functions.

Time Commitment and Assignment:  All externs are expected to commit to a minimum of 16 hours a week. You may work more hours if you so wish. 

This Paralegal Externship offers practical experience performing a variety of specialized paralegal functions including some combination of the following: drafts legal documents; conducts legal research and prepares written memoranda; prepares documents for use in pretrial and trial proceedings; creates and maintains legal files, trial notebooks, and indices; supervises case and file management systems, casework and trial preparation.

This opportunity is for college and graduate students interested in attending law school. It aims to inspire and motivate future law students in their pursuit of a legal career. Selected participants will get first-hand experience of the inner workings of the District Attorney’s Office. Participants will assist and shadow a Deputy District Attorneys on the prosecution team. Preferably for students majoring in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies, or Pre-law. Interns provide administrative support, edit documents, social media, graphic design, light paralegal assignments, file, scan and organize documents, etc.
