District Attorney Pamela Price Charges Former Employee of Local Trucking Company for Embezzling Over $4.3 Million, Laundering Stolen Funds, and Committing Perjury September 26, 2024 Oakland, CA— Today, Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price announces that Darinder S. Dyal (43) has been charged with over 150 felony charges and all available sentencing enhancements in connection with a massive, nearly eight-year-long embezzlement scheme against his former employer, a local trucking company based in Union City. The charges against Mr. Dyal include 89 counts of grand theft by embezzlement, one for each month between January 2015 and May 2022, when his alleged crimes were discovered.
