August 17, 2023 - The Alameda County District Attorney's Office has filed charges against 27 year old Juan Lopez in relation to two separate shooting incidents that occurred on 10/28/22 an hour apart at two separate locations.  Mr. Lopez is facing charges of murder, possession of a firearm by a felon, and two counts of attempted murder. His sentencing exposure is 45 years to life plus an additional 5 years and 4 months. The first incident took place in the 1400 block of 103rd Avenue at 7:46pm. Oakland CA. August 14, 2023 – The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office is charging two men allegedly involved in a shooting incident at a gas station on East 12th Street in Oakland on July 7. Roderick Smith of Hayward is charged with one count of attempted murder, two counts of shooting at an occupied vehicle and one count of unlawful firearm activity.  Deandre Daley of Oakland is charged with one count of attempted murder, two counts of shooting at an occupied motor vehicle, one count of unlawful firearm activity and possession of a firearm by a felon.
