Oakland, CA — Today, Alameda County District Attorney Ursula Jones Dickson announced that the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office has filed felony charges against Jaeden Roach (18) in connection with a violent assault and robbery of a juvenile (15).

According to the investigation, on June 25, 2026, at approximately 3:15 p.m., Mr. Roach was one of five suspects who concealed themselves behind an apartment complex in the 3400 block of 68th Avenue in Oakland. The group waited for the victim to arrive. At that point, the victim was allegedly attacked and beaten with handguns by the defendant and his co-participants, causing serious injuries.

Mr. Roach has been charged with assault with a firearm, robbery, and felony child endangerment.

Jaeden Roach is scheduled for a plea hearing on Monday, August 3, 2026, in Department 112 of the Alameda County Superior Court, Wiley W. Manuel Courthouse in Oakland.
