Oakland, CA — Today, District Attorney Ursula Jones Dickson announced that the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office has charged Hakeem Jones (36) with shooting at an occupied vehicle while driving on the I-880 freeway in Oakland.

Mr. Jones is charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm, shooting at an occupied motor vehicle, and discharging a gun at a vehicle —all felonies. The criminal complaint includes a charging enhancement for the use of a firearm, causing the offense to become a serious and violent felony.
